These day’s, I’ll walk into a store and b-line to the men’s department. While I love ruffle sleeves and designer frills, my truest self lies in a giant oversized tee. Preferably with a high society dog printed on it.
When it comes to everyday shirting, I’m a strong supporter of borrowing from the boys. You may remember this Amiri top from Barneys. Or this Interview top I stole from my ex-boyfriend (thanks, David!). Or this blog post of me re-structuring Dad’s old button up.
The trick to not looking like an actual boy? Accessories! Gold hoops, arm candy, stacks of rings, and a chain crossbody all totally transform the look. (Bonus points if you’ve got a great set of nails too)
You’ll be seeing more menswear in the near future…I went on a bit of a shopping spree in the men’s department at Barney’s.
