There’s a new cool girl in town, and she wears DKNY.
I’ll admit, I’ve never given DKNY much thought in the past–disregarding it as an irrelevant mom brand of 90’s nostalgia. But as pieces in the window grew cuter and cuter each time I passed their SoHo storefront, I decided to finally step in and check it out.
No lie, I was shocked at how much I loved everything in there. Minimalism with an edge—DKNY has turned a new corner. And I anticipate it’s going to be the next “it girl” brand.
And their show at NYFW last week gave us a sweet taste of what’s to come. As Bella Hadid and Co. rocked a collection that was a mix of both structured tailoring and urban athliesure. Keep an eye out of this one, DKNY is about to re-define the “New York Cool”
