Looking good in winter can sound like an oxymoron. But sometimes the best way to deal with the bundled marshmallow look is to fully embrace it’s ridiculousness. Go big or go home. Right?

With this look I full went oversized on top in this Issey Miyake cape and down chain scarf. And kept it simple with jeans and chelsea boots below. I accessorized this look with my Issey Miyake structured “crinkled” bag. I’m not totally sure what material it is. But what I do know is that I’ve never seen a bag quite like it.

You are the coolest ever I envy this look! Embracing the weather is the best idea and you KILLED the marshmallow look. I am all for it and I think the bag was another cool addition to this. I know that you will be looking so chic all winter long.

  • Reply Siffat Haider November 26, 2015 at 7:48 AM

Only you could pull off such a unique scarf. Effortlessly chic as always.

  • Reply Monika November 26, 2015 at 12:26 AM

I agree it can be tough to look nice in the winter. All those bulky layers can make you feel like you’re swimming in fabric (especially if you’re short) if you’re not careful. I think you balanced it well here though.

  • Reply Lena November 25, 2015 at 9:12 PM

I am in love with the down chain scarf! Your outfit is like one straight out Vogue magazine, so avant-garde and chic! I know what you mean by the oxymoron, definitely a challenge to dress chic and warm for the single digit weather ahead of us. Anyhow, stay warm Lily and happy thanksgiving! Have a great one! :) xo~ Lena
