Everyone and their mother has heard about the 70’s revival trend happening in fashion. While I’m usually hesitant to fall into trends, you can’t resist how good some of these 70’s silhouettes are.

Of course, everyone must take a trend with a grain of salt to keep their style authentic. My grain of salt happens to be all black. No surprise there. Bellbottoms and heels will make anyone look taller and leaner, and while this look is borrowed from the 70s, it is still very contemporary.

Underneath my jeans are a few extra inches thanks to my Margiela leather booties.

When wearing bell-bottoms, it’s best to keep it tight on top. Here I’m wearing an Anne Fontaine cotton button up with a hint of lace showing. I accessorized this all black look with my everyday rings and a vintage western belt that conveniently looks a lot like the new Saint Laurent.
